News from Assistance League of Minneapolis/St. Paul’s Grants to Teachers program: Ms. Kelly’s students at the Keewaydin Campus just finished a hands-on lesson in buoyancy and displacement. The students worked in groups of three to build boats out of aluminum foil, popsicle sticks and modeling clay. The boat that held the most pennies without sinking won.

Here’s a fun report from Assistance League of Minneapolis/St. Paul’s Grants to Teachers program. Students in Mr. Iverson’s 4th grade math class are learning math, science and music all in one creative project: making dulcimers. Now that they have constructed and decorated their instruments, the students are practicing for their big concert.
